Okey-dokey. I just wanted to talk about the last couple cd's I bought. This is the perfect place to babble about what I like and don't like so I guess I will use it to my advantage.

In the past 2 weeks I have bought: Billy Joel The Ultimate Hits Collection, Jason Mraz Live (Tonight, Not Again), and Maroon 5 Acoustic something or other (I can't remember the exact name).

The Billy Joel cd(s) rock. Of course. Billy Joel always rocks. I already had the 1st two cd's of this set because they are part of his greatest hits collection, so I bought this one mainly for the fourth CD which was live stuff. I never was a big Billy Joel fan until a couple years ago I happened to catch him on A and E In His Own Words and it changed my opinion. He just is charismatic in this really special way. I think because he seems to believe so much in his music. (As all artists should.) I just find him very inspiring. Probably my newest favorite of his songs is Vienna - the live version that is on disc 4 of the ultimate hits collection. Other faves are Piano Man, NY State of Mind, The live version of Seen the Lights go Out (Miami 2017) that is on the 9/11 concert for NY cd. The 1st time I listened to that it gave me chills, it was just so powerful. Then You May Be Right, Scenes from An Italian Restaurant. There are probably too many to name.

Next -- The Jason Mraz CD. Everyone run, do not walk to your nearest music purchasing outlet and pick up this CD. It is the best thing I have heard in a really long time. His style is so different from what you hear all over the radio. I think this CD is awesome. I bought his 1st one that came out (Waiting for My Rocket to Come) and it was okay, but the live one blew me away. My fave on this - Sleeping to Dream - that song is the prettiest, kind of lonley type song I have heard in quite awhile. You just have to hear it. Next would probably be Curbside Prophet. Anyone who has this CD I have a question - do you think that the 1st song (tonight, not again) sounds very similar (almost identical) to Bob Seger's Turn the Page when it 1st starts off?

Then the Maroon 5 Cd. I was disappointed with this. It was acoustic and I didn't think it sounded very good. I liked the cd versions better. Harder to Breathe is okay.

Alright, I guess that's enough for right now. I love music. * sighs contently *
